The Las Vegas Raiders are one of the few teams in the league that consistently hold Foundations, Balls, and Galas during the season and offseason. Most recently was the Silver and Black Gala, held on Saturday, March 30.
They consistently give back to their community and other foundations and do things to help support great causes. The Silver and Black Gala is to provide help and hope to people struggling with mental health issues. This was the first year the Raiders have held this Gala.
At this Gala, you may have seen head coach Antonio Pierce singing a song on a stage. Yes, you read that right - the guy who embodies that Raider culture was getting a little wild, which is completely okay because I'm sure he is like that in the locker room or behind closed doors.
Pierce was on stage singing My Girl by The Tempatations. Only, he put his own little spin on it all. Instead of singing the "my girl, my girl" part, he would sing "Raiders, Raiders."
Here, just take a look for yourself if you don't believe me:

It's pretty funny, but also, when you think of what the Gala is for and look at what Pierce is doing at a Gala like that for mental health, I'm sure a lot of people appreciate it. He sure knows how to put a smile on your face.
