The Cleveland Browns improved their wide receiver room big time this offseason, and it all had to do with trading for Denver Broncos star receiver Jerry Jeudy.
Under general manager Andrew Berry, the Cleveland Browns have been known for trading for some big-time wide receivers in the past few years. In 2022, he traded for a great Dallas Cowboys receiver, Amari Cooper; last offseason, he traded for New York Jets Elijah Moore. Still, those two trades didn’t stop him from going out this offseason and trading for Jerry Jeudy.
The Browns needed an upgrade at the receiver spot, and hopefully, Jeudy is the guy to bring the room over the top, but the Browns did add some insurance to the position on Tuesday.
According to Mary Kay Cabot from Cleveland.com, the Browns have signed Matt Landers.

Landers was undrafted in 2023, coming out of Arkansas, and spent his first season in the NFL on the Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers practice squad.
Landers also spent time in the year’s new spring football league, the UFL. He was signed on January 23rd by the Arlington Renegades but was waived on March 10th. He then signed with the San Antonio Brahmas and was also waived.
